PROGRAMME SPRING 2026

AMANDA FLODIN & ANDERS ERICSON
- The Swedish lute

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 24TH 8PM I GRAND MALMÖ

ENTRANCE 125 SEK ORDINARY FROM 7:30PM.

In this beautiful and unusual program, singer Amanda Flodin and lutenist Anders Ericson bring the music for voice and Swedish lute to life for the first time in 200 years. The Swedish lute was a unique Swedish instrument developed in Stockholm in the 1770s and played primarily in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Åbo. The instrument became immensely popular but fell out of fashion in the 1830s with the rise of the guitar.

Thousands of pieces have been preserved but lay dormant until Amanda and Anders brought them back to life. Come and hear songs by, among others, Mozart and Haydn — in Swedish!

TRIO RICHE

After an evening at Restaurant Riche in the spring of 2024, they decided to begin making music together, and since then they have performed numerous concerts around Sweden and also appeared live on Swedish Radio P2.
